The fans came to watch the first SATCAR race of the season and went home remebering the Polo Cup race.

The Welkom Cicuit provided lots of passing opportuitiesis and with it came lots of heart stopping action. Many time the crowd were on their feet.

The next race is in July at Kyalami. You don't want to miss it!

Don't miss the Welkom race on 31/05/97! With the first ever appearance of the Polo Cup cars at Goldfields combined with the first showing of the Touring cars this season, this is set to be the biggest event of the year so far. Rounds 11 & 12 will see more than 30 Polo cars take to the circuit to do battle and with that long straight (1Km long!) there is going to be some huge action.

The Welkom Cicuit is only about 2 1/2 hours from Joburg so treat yourself (and a bunch of freinds) to a day at Goldfileds raceway... You won't be dissapointed!!

Close, clean racing marked the third round of the Engen Polo Classic Cup race series at Port Elizabeth’s Aldo Scribante Raceway on Saturday.

The day’s racing further established the Engen Polo Classic Cup series as South Africa’s only one-make formula for saloon cars.
